THE BASICS↴

| PERSONALITY↴ - Egotistical. Shiki thinks himself better than pretty much everyone else! Strength is what speaks to him and he's the strongest man in Igura. The cowards who fear him and run, and the ones who get cut down by his sword are all just garbage. - Aloof. Perceptive. He tends to keep to the shadows and largely remains a mystery for most of the game. Doesn't talk about himself, doesn't seem to have interests beyond power and revenge. In the 'good' ending, when he loses the object of his revenge and no longer has that pushing him, he shuts down and becomes like, a vegetable. Telling: he's a man who needs a purpose and a goal. - Asshole. Blunt. Freely speaks his mind and belittles others. - "No reason." Often times he'll act purely on what seems interesting or for no reason at all, just because he feels like it. Sometimes his actions can seem odd because of this. Mostly relates to other people (hello Akira). - Likes control. Maybe he's born with it, or maybe it's just trauma (this one), but Shiki really likes being in control of others. Dominance. Loves pinning others down underneath his thumb. Loves it more when they squirm. The process of breaking someone down fascinates him. - Little care for life… welp, unless it's his own. Kills indiscriminately unless someone catches his eye or impresses him. Doesn't even matter if you're family. He doesn't give a fuck. They there? They dead, whatevz. - Patient. Confident. Willing to stalk his prey (and in fact enjoys it) while they scramble away. Though all bets are off if you happen to be a purple eyed super soldier. - Selfish. One track mind. Once he's decided he's going to do something, he's going to do it. If he can't have it? Destroy it. If he can't have it, no one can. - Moments of tenderness, depending on his mood. He speaks to Akira when he's feeling particularly nostalgic one night. But apparently this achievement is only unlocked when you've been around him a while. - He's also that guy that would throw a board game out the window when he's losing. - So basically he has like no redeeming qualities. What a loser. - Hates losing, btw. |
| APPEARANCE↴ Shiki's pretty much your typical dark and mysterious attractive guy. Black hair and long eyelashes, red eyes, pale skin, and wearing all the black leather in what's left of Japan. He's rarely seen without his katana - which is just a basic katana - and trench coat. The coat is also black leather. Surprise. He's trimmed out with silver jewelry sometimes, and has a silver studded belt. Black boots, black gloves. He has a muscular, lean build, and stands at about 6 feet 2 inches. Holds himself tall, with pride. He also has great hips and thighs? Seriously, look at them. He's very much a pretty boy in terms of aesthetics. He moves gracefully, fluidly, very much like a cat. He may or may not elicit the strong feeling of wanting to punch him in the face, intense scarerousal, or both at the same time. |
| STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES↴ Shiki is strong. He prides himself on this fact, and the fact that he's strong without the aide of Line (a.k.a steroids and drugs). The reason why he only uses a simple katana is because he believes his skill more than elaborate weapons. The sword is merely an extension of himself. He's fast, he's clever, and he's ruthless. He's driven by the want for vengeance and the desire for more power, to be the strongest, and to finally destroy what gave him fear all those years ago. Yadda yadda. Despite all his posturing, Shiki is only human. At the end of the game, two out of three times he'll give in and drink Nicole's blood, thus granting him power through what he detested and looked down upon (Nicole's blood is drugs p much). In the ending he doesn't, he ends up despondent because he's lost his purpose in life. He's not nearly as above everyone as he imagines. He's also selfish, stubborn, and has a one track mind. While these things can help him, they can also hurt him. He hates losing and does not deal with it well! It's possible to get under his skin, even when he's playing cool. Shiki doesn't lack emotions by any means - it's just playing your cards right and finding what ticks him off. |
| IC PREFS AND KINKS↴ Shiki finds defiance, pride, and strength (of both character and body!) to be interesting traits in other people. One of the most appealing things about Akira was that there was no fear in his eyes when he looked at him - which ends up being the reason he doesn't kill him, more or less. More fun to break 'em slowly. What a tool. … But he'll always enjoy stepping on cowards and the like, of course. He tends to be pretty judgmental of those who use enhancers or do hard drugs/line. I imagine he'd also be pretty judgey about alcohol, maybe. IC Kinks: Control/Dominance, breathplay, bondage, anal sex, piercing, bloodplay, knifeplay, cutting, abrasions, struggling, biting, sexual exhaustion, begging, humiliation, verbal commands and restraints, leash and collar, corruption, abduction/confinement, painplay, sensory deprivation. | OTHER STUFF (ooc)↴ Depending on the scene, I may tone down the level of… Shikiness. It'll vary! The best thing is to talk out what sort of thing we want to write, and I'll adjust accordingly. While I'm all for completely terrible and bloody, as long as it's fun and interesting (or hot), I'm happy. There are different elements of him that I'd like to explore that OU simply won't allow, and he can be a pretty fun character to adjust to other settings. So, simply put, for the sake of actually playing him without a thread going dead, he'll be more engaging and less enigmatic than in canon. AU makes this a whole lot easier for me, but I really do love OU too, so if you're interested in that, let's talk. Additionally, please let me know what you're comfortable with and what you're not.
